Thailand
is a beautiful country covered in lushes green trees of all kind, beaches and
water that go for miles. A sky and
sunset/sunrise beyond what I have seen. Storms and lightening that stun your
eyes in awe. God needs to be worshipped and praised in all this, His creative
hands and mind created this mind blowing intricate world. WOW!
We have had the chance to see the biggest man
made reclining Buddha, and the “BIG BUDDHA”.
As we got to the top of where the Buddha was and we turned are backs to
this idol, and looked at the view (which was the top view of the trees, water
and islands). I stood in amazement and prayed that everyone who came up there would
be in awe of creation rather than these manmade idols. 
“Do
not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is jealous, is a jealous
God” Exodus 34:14
“When the Lord made a covenant with the
Israelites, he commanded them: “Do not worship any other gods or bow down to
them, serve them or sacrifice to them. But the Lord, who brought you up out of
Egypt with mighty power and outstretched arms, is the one you must worship. To
him you shall bow down and to him offer sacrifice. Do not worship other gods.
Rather, worship the 
Lord your God, it is he who will deliver you from the hand
of all your enemies” 2 Kings 17: 35-40
The
Lord desires for us to follow him and know his voice. He is the voice of
freedom, where the captives are set free, the broken hearted are healed, where
the seas are calmed, where innocence is gained and unconditional love reigns. 
“The
watchman opens the gate for him and the sheep listen to his voice. HE CALLS HIS
OWN SHEEP BY NAME AND LEADS THEM OUT. When he has brought out all his own, he goes
ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice, but they
will never follow a stranger, in fact they will run away from him because they
do not recognize a strangers voice” John 10:3-5
God
knows the people of Thailand by name -whether they are Buddhist, a prostitute roaming
the street, a monk, an intoxicated person, or a lost, finding something to grasp
person. He is just waiting for them to recognize
His voice. He stands there beside them, whispering sweet songs of love in their
ear but they do not recognize their master’s voice, they do not recognize the
call to come home.
HIS VOICE BRINGS FREEDOM
