Month 9 is already bringing on changes for me on the World Race.
We arrived last night in Cambodia and it is looking very similar to Nepal. Motorbikes everywhere, HOT, friendly people, and did I mention….HOT. A few of us went for a run this morning and lasted 40 minutes before we were racing back to jump in the pool.
For the first time in 9 months we slept in Air Conditioned rooms, watched TV until we fell asleep and it was glorious.
It is a nice resting place after our month in Thailand. Blogs on Thailand coming soon! I just want to focus on the meeting that I just had with the squad and the fact that they announced my team (Raw Fish) is being disbanded and we are getting dispersed amongst the remaining 5 teams on the squad.
I can’t begin to explain over blogs how excited I am about my new team. My new team leader is Lauren Rush. I met her at training camp and she has been one of the best friends a person could have. I pray that everyone in their life has the blessing of meeting someone like Lauren. She is wild and crazy fun she also hears from the Lord in such an inspiring way. She writes me notes and prayers every time we leave each other at de briefs and that is what gets me through the month, knowing that I will see her at the end.

On the way to the night On top of the mountain in
market in Thailand. Brasov, Romania.
The other members of my team are:
Vinny who is going to challenge me to be more Spirit led in everything that I do.
Emily is going to lead us in dance parties and offer the Lord’s heart in every move that she makes.
Loretta is wise beyond her years and every word that comes out of her mouth is well thought out.
KK is going to challenge me and push me to be a better woman of God. She knows how to bring tough things to people with a crazy amount of love.
Kelly is an extremely hard worker and does everything with a joyful heart.
This month in Cambodia we are working with Teen Challenge in Phnom Penh.
