Psalm 108: 1-5 "My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises!…For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over ALL THE EARTH".
My heart is confident. This year belongs to the Lord and I trust Him with it. This new journey of faith and discipleship begins in two more days. To the extent that I can wrap my mind and heart around what I'm about to do, I'm excited! Leaving still does not feel real in most ways. I don't know what it will feel like to be so far from home for so long, but I do know that I'm excited about the adventure with God…the things he will teach me…the ways he will change me…and everything I will learn about dependence, community, living in "enough", God's heart, surrender, God's provision, and so much more. I'm excited to perpetually be in circumstances where I become less and God and others become more.
I'm so thankful to all of you who have played a part in sending me out! I wouldn't be going without the love and support you have given. So, THANK YOU! My prayer is that you also will be encouraged and changed by the journey…that as you see what God is doing in the nations, you will experience and understand God in new ways and trust in Him in bigger ways…that along with me you will be broken, moved, ignited, stirred and challenged…to the point of action.
