So at the end of last month in the philippines my mom got to come visit me and do ministry with me for parent vision trip (PVT). I was so excited to see my mom and get to show her the kind of ministry I want to do for the rest of my life. We got the opportunity to work with Wipe Every Tear. They focus on getting woman out of the bars and getting them education. In Thailand I found my passion for these woman. I was so excited to get to work with an organization who is so succsuful in what they do. I was very blessed to get to met the man who runs this organization. He is very passionate and all about spreading the gospel, but by showing love. Him and his teams go into the bars and sit and talk with the woman and just love on them. He never says you are gonna go to hell he doesn’t even usually say the name of Jesus. He shows them who Jesus is instead. I was just amazed and loved the way he runs his ministry. A couple of nights during PVT we got to go into the bars with them. The first night we did I got up on the stage and was dancing and talking with girls. All of a sudden a waitress brought me a tip from one of the men in the bar. All I could think was no I am not here for you and I am worth more than 50 pesos (roughly $1). So I handed the money to one of the girls and walked off the stage. While I was up on the stage the woman were dancing, laughing and talking with me. As soon as I walked off they all stopped and looked at me. They kept asking me if I was ok. I don’t know if understand why I did that. All I know is that God can work in cool ways. We had 37 woman get on a bus with us and come check out wipe every tear and we planted many more seeds. The race has given me the courage to do things I would have never dream to do. I would say never be afraid of what God ask you to do. It’s not always going to comfotable or easy but it will be worth it.
