The World Race has begun a new avenue of ministry this year. It is called Unsung Heros. The main goals of Unsung Heros are:
“1. Share stories of Unsung Heroess
2. New contacts of WR
3. Help ministries become self-sufficient
4. In-country networking.”
Every month a team is assigned to do unsung heros in the country they are serving. This next month, April, my team (Team ROAR) is assigned unsung heros. We will be in Albania.
So we need help. If you know of anyone who lives in Albania, has visited Albania or knows of other contacts in Albania please forward that information to me. We need names and contact information. You can comment on this blog and/or email me at [email protected]
Unsung Heros is such a great opportunity. As many of us may be aware, ministry can be challenging and discouraging. Many times people in ministry may be in need of support and/or encouragement. We want to offer that. The Lord has made the body to be united and to be there for each other. We are blesse this month to see this manifested in new ways. We want to bring encouragement where it is needed and long-term support if possible. In the process I believe the Lord will develop our team more fully in the giftings of prophecy in finding contacts. He will also develop us in the boldness and creativity in connecting with brothers and sisters who are strangers to us at this current time.
I have been told many times that Albania is a “cold country”. That is not the Lord’s desire. This has potential to bring life and warmth and truth to a country in need of a Savior!
