‘QA DASH’ – Hebrew for set apart
One month living in what is formally known as World Race community doesn’t come with much personal space or alone time. Whether it’s showering with no door or curtain, constant audiences during phone/FaceTime calls, collaboratively writing this blog post, sleeping 5 inches away from each other, sharing what little clothes each of us brought in our 50 lb bag, knowing someone’s food order at our local spot or reading each other’s notes from home and crying like we actually know the people who wrote them… it is safe to say our team has quickly become family. So we felt it necessary to introduce our new family to all of our friends and family back home.

It’s crazy to think we have only spent one month together. Though we all bring very unique and quirky things to the table, there are some things our team just couldn’t live without. These include- Lindsay’s thoughtful gifts of encouragement, joy and love, Celenne’s challenging words spoken straight from the Word of God, Sue’s light hearted but grounded intentionality in conversations, Kristi’s ability to go to war in powerful prayer, HB’s faith and dedication to ministry sites, Shay’s fearless worship and Chandler’s engaging nature that invites us all to delve deeper into relationships.
The Lord knew what he was doing when we were placed on this team. We are fortunate to know and be loved by each other. We’re all proud to be a part of the QA-DASHian fam.
