So big day. My first blog post! My goal is to blog around four times a week. Each day will correspond to a different Gospel. On Mondays, I hope to, like Matthew, take a look at God’s majesty. Whether its a beautiful landscape, a wonderful song, or a great conversation with a friend, I hope to show the Lord’s greatness. On Wednesdays, I hope to, like Mark, demonstrate what it means to be a servant. On these days, I will focus on some of the projects our team is doing to help those less fortunate. On Friday, like Luke, I hope to take on the role of a historian by giving an account of the events happening in my life. Finally, on Sunday, like John, I hope to take a more theological look on things. On these days, I plan to teach about something I’ve learned, seen someone else learn, or feel the need to talk about. (Because after all, 21 yr old men are usually the demographic people go to to seek life advice.) However, these are only loose guidelines and will not always hold.

Since today is Friday, I will share a little on what is going on in my life. This week was a very busy week in my life. Yesterday, I had three exams which slowly but surely sucked the life out of me. I’ve got to hand it to Prof. Hinesman, he can write a difficult exam. Going into my first exam, I told myself I was going to get an A on all my exams that day. Going into the second exam, I told myself I was going to pass all my exams that day. Going into my third exam, I told myself I would not cry halfway through. That was the kind of day it was. Today wasn’t much better. I had two homework assignments that are due next Thursday, but I have training camp for the mission trip all next week in Georgia so they were due today for me. Oh, and not to mention, I also completely packed for a week today because shockingly I did not think ahead and pack in advance. Oh well, my schoolwork is done now, and I look forward to a week completely devoted to God and the upcoming trip this week in Georgia.
