This past Sunday we made the 3o
minute car ride from Greystones to Dublin creating yet another memory of the
blessing that God has placed over us. This past month we have worked
ministering to the helpless and hopeful at Dublin’s downtown city center,
worked with a drug and alcohol rehab facility, spoke and led worship at the
local church, reached out to the neighbors, and poured into our contacts house
to prepare it for future mission teams. In many ways I feel like I’ve been in
Ireland for months, in other ways it feels like we just touched down on the Irish
tarmac. In many ways we’ve seen the fruits of our efforts, in other ways it
feels like we’ll never know. I’ve felt the presence of God, yet still frustrated at his revealed power.

But like I said, we’re blessed. The
past few days we’ve been at ‘The Awakening’ (A time where all 300 or so World
Racers get together, worship, listen to messages, and live in tents). The
nights here hover probably just over 40 degrees. Our contacts (Jim and Kathy),
who already opened their house to 13 complete strangers while they were in
France for 10 days have left us with a RV at our campground. A RV complete with
heater, stove, refrigerator, beds, and about 40 pounds of bread. Needless to
say we were ecstatic.

God is doing amazing things in us and through us. We haven’t even been gone for 3 months. I can’t wait to see what
else is to come.
