Dear
Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you well! I am writing to share with you
what’s going on in my life today, as well as seek support for my upcoming
journey. In March I resigned from my job in Washington, DC to purse an
opportunity as a Christian missionary overseas. While I didn’t hear a voice
booming from above, I have had a clear nudging that I have been called to drop
what I was doing and actively pursue the Lord. Although fear and pride held me
back, (probably longer than necessary) I am finally leaving June 13th to 11
different countries over the next 11 months!

Since you have been part of our Riley family history, I wanted to
invite you along on the journey as your representative and partner in Christ. I
have a blog which I will keep updated (when wifi allows) as often as possible.
I am asking for your thoughts, prayers, and donations to advance God’s kingdom.

Matthew 28 says “Meanwhile, the eleven disciples were on their way
to Galilee, headed for the mountain Jesus had set for their reunion. The moment
they saw him they worshiped him. Some, though, held back, not sure about
worship, about risking themselves totally. Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead
and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you:
Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking
them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then
instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as
you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”

Honestly, am not looking for handouts and hope that any monetary
gift is given out of joy rather than obligation. I very much appreciate your
prayers as much (if not more) than money. Donate because of your love for
Christ and His ability to impact the lives of others today into eternity. I
have included an envelope if you are interested in assisting with financial
support. Below is my website, listing more details about the trip and organization
that sponsors us.
