When Jesus came he brought the new covenant which meant death to the old covenant. Jesus brought the new covenant, so that the old covenant would be fulfilled. Because of His death on the cross, everything can be accomplished through Him.

In our own strength we can not accomplish the will of God. In God’s strength anything can be accomplished. Man has tried to accomplish our own wills and because of it, greed, power and pride have taken over our great nation. We have turned our eyes away from the Lord and have put our wills above His.
I believe with all my heart that God is hurting for this nation. I believe that it hurts Him to see what we are going through, but I also believe that He wants the focus to be on Him. I believe that we are in a time where that focus is going to be forced back on Him through the situations we all have allowed into our nation.
Most will want to start blaming people for their actions and projecting everything on others instead of themselves. I want to challenge that thought and say that through one man this world was changed forever. Through one man there was hope, there was vision, there was truth. It is time for us to stand up and to fight for this great nation. It is time for us to do something about it and stop the blame shifting.
Blame goes all the way back to the garden, when Eve ate the apple. When God confronted Adam, the first thing that he did was blame Eve. This has been a pattern through the ages. It is time to turn our focus back on God and give him the respect and honor that is due.
I believe the answers lay in the fear of the Lord and in the greatest commandment of all, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.” Deuteronomy 6:5

I pray that we come back to what our founding father’s built this great nation on. I send my love and prayers to all who are reading.
“The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you in His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
