“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” Psalm 32:8
The past few days have definitely been my highlight in Cambodia. I was able to preach at New Life in Christ church on Saturday night and five youths from the church decided to give their lives to Christ. I then had to say my goodbyes to them on Sunday and the entire church decided to pray for me. Praise the Lord.
Sunday night, I headed over to New Life Fellowship church where team Revolution and a few others were staying before heading out to Siem Reap on Tuesday morning. I found out that Chris and Erin taught two English classes on Monday and Chris couldn’t make it. He asked if I could fill in and I accepted.
Monday came around and I assisted Erin in the class from one to two and then Erin told me that I should just run with the two to three class and give my testimony. About 30 to 40 kids attended the class and I shared my testimony. I could feel the presence of the Lord over the entire class and I knew that God wanted me to share the entire gospel. I began to share from Genesis to Revelation as eyes intently peered back at me. The entire class claimed to be Buddhist except two kids. The Lord laid it on my heart to give an invitation for those who wanted to ask the Lord into their hearts and 16 kids shot out of their chairs. I was filled with joy and couldn’t stop smiling the entire rest of the day.
The next morning Jimmy and I woke up to go visit our brother Eric Hanson at Siem Reap. We crawled out of bed at 5:50 and were in a boat on the Mekong River at 6:45. We had a choice to take a rickety bus that would take 6-8 hours or a boat that would take 5. We chose the boat ride. The trip up was amazing and God showed us Cambodia in a way that I will forever remember.

We arrived in Siem Reap to Team Agapetos and were off to ministry with Eric Hanson at the local Buddhist Monastery. Eric had been teaching English every day to between 10-20 monks a class. We were privileged enough to sit and listen to the monks tell us about Buddhism for the first hour and then they asked if we could share about Christianity. We talked about the fall of man, sin, the cross, being born again, Jesus and talked for an hour beyond when class normally ends. The class ended with us praying for the monks to be able to see God and to receive visions and dreams. They asked if they could write down questions for our class the following day. Praise the Lord.

We will be in Siem Reap for the next 5 days where squads A and B will be for debrief starting Friday. We then head to Bangkok for two days when we will be off to China for the final stretch of the trip. Love and blessings to all my family, supporters and friends.
God Bless.
