Hello everyone my name is Rusty Jackson, a World Race servant, and I’ve been asked to bring ya’ll an update on our teams. Since I don’t have a personal blog I’m using Chad Mast’s.
Saturday the big house in Swaziland got a little more full. Nearly 50 January racers have been at the house now for about a week, and yesterday the June team showed up. So an additional 30 or so new folks have been added to the group. As you can imagine it was an eventful day! Like true servants the January team welcomed in all the new guys and gals with food and games. The January racers have also set up different training classes for the June team. Of course the January team has been at it for six months so they have lots of wisdom they can pass down to the new racers.
Sunday started early this morning as everyone was up and out of the house by 7:45. The 8 o’clock worship service was held at the global village. There Seth Barnes spoke to both teams. It was also a great time for everyone to pray for the journey that’s in front of the June team. Later in the morning Chad Mast talked with new group about making missions a lifestyle. The two teams will get together later in the day for more training and each evening will end with a message from “The General” Andrew Shearman!.
Hope everyone that reads this is doing great! We’ll keep you posted as the June team embarks on it’s first week of training here in Swaziland.
God Bless
