“For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight, for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.” Isaiah 52:12
Before I came to Nicaragua I was troubled with where God wanted me to go. I had a situation where three teams would be splitting up and heading off to different ministries. The media team was also going to be splitting to cover the most amount of ground in the most practical way.

After much prayer I knew that I was supposed to go with three of the media team members to each location. I knew that I was supposed to check in at each location and meet each contact and assist each team where needed.
That was exactly what happened. We spent nearly one week in Jinotepe with Team Nessa before leaving with Team Agapotos for Costa Rica. The trip from Jinotepe to Costa Rica took nearly four hours from start to finish. We had minor miscommunications at the boarder but apart from that we arrived safe and sound in our new home in Belen Costa Rica.

Our partner is part of a church called Iglesia Evangelica Methodista. They are a Holy Spirit Methodist church in the town of Belen. This town is troubled with poverty, alcoholism, unfaithfulness and sits right outside of one of the tourist city connections called Liberia.

Our ministry is divided into two parts but is going to revolve around prayer. We have established throughout this trip that the reason the Lord is doing the amazing things is because of the time we are putting towards prayer. We are going to stick to that and start the foundation how it should begin, in Prayer.

We are also going to be ministering in the town of Liberia with tourists, door to door evangelism, drimes(drama/mime) and children’s ministry. We plan on visiting this town during our morning hours. After lunch we will be ministering in our home town of Belen. There are hundreds of children surrounding the church and have envisioned a great children’s ministry. We will also do door to door evangelism, street ministry and help out with a medical Clinic.

I am very excited about the ministry that we have found because this is a great contact that I am sure we will connect with for years to come. The love of Jesus Christ is the center of the church and delivering the message of the Salvation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is their focus.
Myself and the three media team members (Chris, Jenny, Erin) will be here for a total of eight days before we head off to the island of Ometepe (on Lake Nicaragua) to visit Team Zeo. God Bless.
