Hey everyone! So a quick update on Ukraine:

I ABSOLUTELY love it here! It feels like home. I could see myself living here one day! Its charming cobblestone roads, vintage box cars, fresh spring flowers on the corner, and the town square makes you feel like you've stepped back in time a bit. I love the small town feel of Uzhgorod, Ukraine.

It has a beautiful river with a yellow walking bridge in the center of town. It's a lock bridge for lovers to come 'lock their love' on a post and throw the key into the river.

There's a quaint chocolate shop (that seems to attract tourist)because their famous chocolate is from L'Viv, Ukraine. After being in Asia and Africa you can imagine…..I visited this place pretty frequent.

There are also amazing Ukrainian farmer's markets everywhere. I love that you can walk into town and get fresh cherries, strawberries, potatoes, flowers, or whatever your heart desires, right there on the street corner.

This months ministry has been SUPER busy! I'm so exhausted but it's been good to be able to pour into children like we have. We work for a camp called 'Nehemiah'. We go there from about 8am -8pm Monday through Friday. We help with activities, love on the children, teach English, and just make sure things run as smoothly as they can with 100 kids! It's CRAZY at times but at the end of the day you feel SO accomplished that everyone made it through!

Craft time!

Vica (Victoria) is my favorite little girl in Ukraine! Always an expression on her face, apparently this time she is….scared.

This month it has hit me that I'm going home in less than 6 weeks. This sounds crazy! HOME?!!?!? SHTO?! ('what' in Russian). I don't think I'm quite ready to face "Home" at times, but on the other side I'm more than ready to be with the people I love! Please pray that I process each month of this world race and get as much as I can out of it, I really want to soak everything in. Once I get home who knows what events will take place, I sure don't. All I know is that I want to keep doing God's will, keep loving on people, be humble, and keep growing like WILDFIRE! At the end of this month we are having a ladies ministry retreat for 2 days and then will be heading to Romania on the 4th of JULY! Sad to miss this holiday for my country but glad to be coming home soon after! Love you all Xoxo -Celeste

ps- I'm sure I'll be back here in Ukraine one day

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!
