Indiuhhhhh can we skip it?

I'm writing you from Bangalore, India….I never thought I'd say that!

So, I was having some negative thoughts about India and based off of stories I could've cared less if we got our route switched and skipped this country. (told ya…bad attitude)

Well, we all got here to Mumbai and drove 1 1/2 hrs outside of the city and slums. During our 4 month debrief about 20 people got sick. Some had to be hospitalized and I, along with many others, had a fever of 102.6
Let's just say I was miserable and I was thinking, "I knew India would suck." This attitude and sickness didn't help my outlook on being here.

BUT THEN…..
I was sitting in worship one night and God spoke.

Clear. Abrupt. Sure. 

…and this is what He said……..

"My daughter, I have called you specifically here, don't run. Be still, you are here for my purpose. I give you grace. Stop squirming, be still and listen for my voice. Listen to these voices praising my name in a country of false idols, idols before me, I STILL infiltrate! Your obedience is vital. 

These are a people of passion and fire. I created them this way, my LOVE is this way. I have brought you here to show them. Show them me,  my passion, fire, and love for them. Passionate firey love. 

My desire is to purify the people of India with this fire. This love. So show them, go, my daughter. You're equipped, I've given you a sword & arrows with fire on their tips, I will guide you."

So there ya have it, God showed me! I was like….."ok. done." and my attitude was gone, & outlook on India completely changed in a matter of seconds.

God is good and His grace is sufficient. Since we've been here He's already teaching me so much. Speciafically He is bringing up forgiveness in my life…. and I'm so thankful <3
