This is my last blog from Hait…this month was crazy, filled with sickness, revival, rain, and heat. Our ministry was different because we had a week of revival and the other weeks were filled with going door to door inviting kids to a free school. But I have enjoyed this month overall! Here is my last blog from Hait 🙂
We are on our last week of ministry in Haiti. This month has been crazy with sickness all throughout our house between three different teams. But healing has been evident throughout each and every girl in this house…sickness or no sickness people have been healed. Praise God! This month has not only been ministry in Haiti, but ministry throughout three all girl teams in need of a savior just as much as the people of Haiti.
This past week we had revival and each night was filled with worship and the Holy Spirit. Every night a new girl would bring the word and let me tell you the word would be brought! God's presence was so evident in the church as well as the Haitians. Even the children, I would look around me and see kids praising and worshipping God with all they have and it's the most beautiful thing to see. This last week is filled with going door to door inviting the children to go to a free school so they can get a fighting chance to an education. Then we are headed back to the DR for a few days of debrief…then off to Thailand!!
We just found out our ministry in Thailand and I am extremely excited for this next month. We will be working with an organization called She that works with sex trafficking. From my understanding we will be doing bar ministry where at night we go into the bars and try to talk with the girls inviting them to lunch. Once we meet with them for lunch we give them a fighting chance to get a job and get out of prostitution. Along with giving them this new job, we will give them a new life through Jesus. I know this next month is going to be heart breaking, dark, crazy, scary, and sometimes hopeless…but God is going to show up in the city of Phucket in Thailand. So all you prayer warriors start lifting up your prayers to God for the women of Thailand, and for protection of the teams working with these women and sex trafficking.
