“Prayer is a strong wall and fortress of the church; it is the Christian’s weapon.”
-Martin Luther-
“The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work” (John 14:10). This month my team and I will be doing “bar ministry”. What this consist of is going into the bars at night and building relationships with the people there. Simply we just want to show the bar moms, the bar boys and girls, the prostitutes, the lady boys, the “Johns”, and anyone else there that they are valued and are loved by Jesus.
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these” (John 14:12). Jesus came to the earth to save the lost and the broken. When sinners, prostitutes, and outcasts were in His presence, He did not condemn them, but loved them, forgave them, and told them go and sin no more. In the same way, my team and I are bringing Jesus to these people in the bars, and when the light (Jesus) enters a room, darkness has to leave.
“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:13-14). I am calling forth all the prayer warriors to lift us up this month in prayer. The Kingdom of Heaven is forcefully advancing here in Thailand, and I am asking all of you to join me in this rescue mission. Be bold with all your prayers, be specific with what you speak out into existence, and remember “the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16). Prayer is the initiation and the authorization for heaven to interfere and to influence earthly affairs. Be the one who takes a stances and intercedes on our behalf. Your prayers are crucial!

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12)
