“Nothing is impossible; the word itself says I’m possible!”

The day has finally come. We have all been waiting for this. The launching pad to fulfilling my destiny is ………….. SEPTEMBER 10th!!!
How exciting is that? SUPER EXCITING!!! I will be arriving in Atlanta September 6th for training and leaving for the world September 10th. I just can’t wait, but obviously I have to.
But lets back up a little before we get too ahead of ourselves …
For the past 6 years, I have been studying in Oklahoma. I just returned home to California this July with my MBA and have been preparing myself mind, body, and spirit for this 11-month journey the Lord is about to take me on. However, it has been a little bitter sweet.
Although I am super excited about everything that is going to happen on my race, I was a little bummed because I was finally going to spend my birthday with my family since 2006. My hopes were crushed since Launch is in September, and my birthday is September 5.
Nevertheless, I said a simple little prayer just like this, “Heavenly Father, let the launch date be after my birthday even if it is September 6th. In Jesus name Amen.”
My prayer was not super spiritual or intense, but it was intentional and sincere. And what do you know?! The Lord answered my prayer right to the last word! Jesus says, “You may ask me for ANYTHING in my name, and I will do it” (John 14:14 NIV). Anything includes both "BIG" and "small" request, and just as the “BIG” seems impossible, sometimes the “small” does too. In Isaiah, the say Lord says “you are mine” and that He delights in you. So tell me why would He not give you want you ask of Him? He did for me.
So I challenge you, what are you going to ask of the Lord today?
