Today is a bitter sweet day as I look back on my time in Puerto Rico. We have definitely done a lot as a team. This last week we went to another place to stay a few days and although we worked hard there, we were also able to have a couple of hot showers and had some time to relax. This month has been full of blessings….so many people that have taken their time out for us to cook for us, or work with us, or invite us into their homes to spend time with us. We have really been showered with love from the people here in Puerto Rico and it was a great start to this year. We keep commenting how hard its going to be to have a better month than this or find someone that loves on us and pushes us like Pastor Peter has been.
Last week we had a lot of stuff go on with a youth meeting that we had from 11-5 on Saturday as well as leading with the youth from this church on Sunday. The skit that was done was so amazing and showed how God contineus to accept us back no matter what we have done or put in the way of us and Him. Sunday morning was also crazy with one of my team mates getting bitten by an alacran (a centipede here in Puerto Rico that hurts really bad) and another one having a small panic attack and it really felt like we were being attacked, but God has been failthful to take care of us and get us through each of the worries or hard things that we have been through. As I look forward to the Dominican Republic, its hard to move forward and leave new friends, but we know that God has a plan for us for this year and that next month will be another part of that. So as we say goodbye to new friends, we are also adding to our family
