This first week of ministry at Beacon of Hope we did a VBS
for the community. But we just didn’t do
the VBS, we taught the boys what to do and let them take control. They went above and beyond! It was absolutely amazing to see them take
the initiative and have the confidence to just go after it with all their
heart. They did skits, songs, crafts,
and games. We even got all the kids in a
circle at the end of the day and shouted declarations. It was the coolest thing to hear 250 kids
shouting that they are loved in their native tongue. The boys did so amazing and blew all of us
away!
