We have arrived safely in beautiful Nepal where we will be
spending the next month doing ministry.
We arrived after a not terribly long but extremely exhausting travel day
in Kathmandu. After meeting our contact
in the airport we drove about an hour to the outskirts of Kathmandu. We pulled up to the Asha Nepal House and
stepped out of the van into a beautiful masterpiece of God’s creation. We felt our first cool breeze we’ve felt in 5
months and looked out at the breathtaking view.
We are standing in a valley with mountains on all sides. There are beautiful green mountains in the
near distance and the Himalayas covered in snow in the distance. I have never appreciated God’s beautiful
creation this much before. The first few
days after arriving at our ministry location consisted of lots of sleep,
eating, and staring for hours at the view from our roof. I can’t get enough of it. I tried to capture its beauty with a picture
but of course it doesn’t do it justice.
God is the Master Artist that specifically designed this area of Nepal
to be breathtakingly beautiful placing ever tree on every mountain and every
flower in the ground.
