So a benefit concert was held on Saturday night… many great performances – here are pictures of a few (don’t mind the clamp in the picture, New Life is in the process of renovating the sanctuary):

Band Name: Hallelujah Blues Band. This was the first missionary benefit concert they’ve ever played!
All and all, we raised $352.26… which probably isn’t a lot, but I walked away from the concert feeling encouraged. Some of the performers (Mary from Chuck’s band, for one) are also raising funds for mission work, and we got to talk about how things are going. Mary offered a couple of pretty good ideas I either hadn’t thought of or hadn’t implemented yet.
