Update – August 1st
Right,
so I had to set a specific deadline for shirt orders for the sanity of
my home church (they don’t always do so well without them), which means
I had to change the date on this event here – to August 16th.
If
you’re really planning to buy a T-Shirt and think there’s a chance you
won’t see me before said deadline, then respond to this message with
the number of shirts you want (if more than one), & size(s) by the
date above so I can order them, then send the money by August 31st. I
won’t be sending out shirts without payment, so please make sure you’ve
paid.
If you’re not actually going to buy a shirt, but want to
give the money a shirt would cost (or whatever amount more or less),
you can do so in one of two ways:

One
of my squadmates tested out how long it takes to donate online, and
estimated it at one minute and twenty-two seconds. If you find giving
online easiest, then go ahead and do it this way. It will show up in my
account far quicker. 🙂
2. Check: Make it out to Adventures in Missions. In the memo line write “Appealed by Cat Pollock”.
It
is important that you write this in the memo line, because this is how
AIM knows where the money is supposed to do. Nothing in the memo line
means they deposit in their general account, which doesn’t do much to
help me.

It will take about three weeks for checks to be applied (slow, I know, but it is what it is).
If
you opt to just give, then let me know when you’ve made the donation
and how much – so I can make sure it’s been applied correctly, and so I
can count it the next time I sit down and write a support newsletter.
