Month 5. December. Debrief. Christmas time. Team changes. Raised up squad leaders. This has been a transitional month for sure.
I’d like to introduce you to my new team, 7 Wonders. I’m so excited to live these next months with the six beautiful women you see below.

This month we are serving alongside an amazing ministry called Crossing Cambodia.
We have the opportunity to work with street children, loving on them and showing them the love of Christ to the core! The children are very dirty and smelly from sleeping on the streets, many of them have open wounds and some have really bad lice. We are coming alongside the staff and riding along to pick up the children every week day morning at 6am from wherever they are sleeping… railroad tracks, along the streets of the riverside, etc. We bring them to the center, help bathe and dress them, give them breakfast, then take them to school. In the afternoons we will be loving on them and playing, along with teaching English and helping with any other projects the ministry has. We will be here for the Christmas celebration and I am excited to make some great memories with my team and the children!!
I am excited to get a lot out of this month. I pray for our team as we love these kids unconditionally and show them how much they are loved by Christ, and it doesn’t matter where they come from or how they look!!!! So far, we have only had one day of ministry. The days are long and exhausting (imagine 20-25 children between the ages of 4 and 13 running around and all excited to have us there….) but it is so rewarding to see the big smiles on their faces because they feel such love and care from the amazing staff who work with them every day, and now from seven world race ladies who love children with suuuch a passion!
More to come! I’m excited to keep you in the loop with all things Cambodia and what God is doing here! Please pray for my new team — we are still in the process of getting to know each other as well as being away from home and our loved ones during this Christmas season. We are so excited to share these moments with each other and the people here.
