Jeff is a special needs boy who I have had the privilege of getting to know and work with over the last few weeks while I'm here in India.

Jeff is a 9 year old boy who has cerebral palsy. Jeff was abandoned at a very young age. When our team arrived at Sarah's Covenant Home and we met our child that we would be working with for the next few weeks I felt overwhelmed. Jeff didn't sit up or smile very much. I didn't feel like I would be able to impact this child at all.

Jeff and I have worked on sitting up and developing his neck muscles to hold up his head. He is very full of smiles and has a beautiful laugh. He likes to kick his feet and hold your hand. Everyday when I arrive he smiles and his eyes light up, he knows me and is excited to see me.

The truth is I don't if I have had a very big impact on him but he has had an amazing impact on me. Jeff has taught me that it's okay not to see the bigger picture all the time. God had a plan for me to work with Jeff for these couple of weeks and to work on the small things. Jeff is making progress that will continue long after I am gone.

He is an amazing little boy who will always have a special place in my heart.
