[team dinner with Jimmy at debrief]
Just finished debrief in Thailand with the whole squad…now we’re in Malaysia!!

After two bus rides totaling over 24 hours, border crossing stops, two-hour stops for customs and paying overdue visa fines, 12+ stops for restroom breaks (smoke breaks for the bus driver), etc. we have arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-which, by the way, is BEAUTIFUL. We, along with three other teams, arrived safely and met up with our contact for the month. They fed us an amazing dinner-you people at home who know I’m a picky eater would be so proud!! I have started eating everything and LOVING Asian food! ☺

Well, as far as ministry goes, we will apparently be living near a farm where we will work alongside Muslim workers 8am-5pm every day doing manual labor and farming for the first part of the month. The second half of the month will be spent working with a ministry on a beach about 7 hours away. Sound familiar? Our team has pretty much spent the first 5 months either on a farm or at a beach, so this really doesn’t surprise me! We are staying in Kuala Lumpur for two days to get some cultural training before heading on to ministry. I will keep you updated as to what we’re doing once we find out more specifics.

Also, I am still about $1000 short of being fully-funded. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to allow me to remain out on the field for the next 6 months!
