AHHHHHH we’re in Guatemala!!!!! J I’ve been here twice before
so it kind of feels like home to me. It’s so great to be back! We took a
red-eye flight last night from LA to El Salvador at 1:25am and arrived in
Guatemala around 9:00am this morning after a short layover. Everything went
quite smoothly-everyone’s bags made it and we walked right out of the airport
and found our 15-passenger van that drove us to Antigua. We got to the hostel
and had a short meeting before having some downtime and an incredible lunch
prepared for us by our very own team leaders. Vegetable sandwiches, chips with
homemade pico (great job, Cody!), and fresh fruit salad (my favorite J).
I’m currently feeling READY!!
Ready for the rest of the squad to get here (along with Mama C and Pappy!!),
ready for more training, and READY to start ministry! I can’t wait to find out
what we will be doing this month and where we will be serving. I am ready to lay down all my expectations
and embrace whatever comes our way. Let’s do this.
