Our team has finally arrived to our contact's home in Bunamwaya, Uganda! We are staying in their home where they have bunk beds, a living room, squattie pottie, half bucket shower and a dining room where we eat all of our meals family style.

Yesterday we had church that starts at 8.45 am which turned into 9.45 am and it went until 2 pm. It was a great time of fellowship with the believers in this town. We introduced ourselves, sang a song and Andrew gave a testimony of what brought us here to Uganda.

While here we will be doing door to door evangelism, speaking at church services (this month they are having church service every night, so we will be helping with those) and ministering to the family we are living with. The pastor and his wife have nine children, so we have already been trying to hang out with them and learn all of their names.

The weather here has been so wonderful! Since we arrived it has felt like fall. Basically with being this close to the equator it seems to be that when the sun is out it is super hot, but when it's not out it can get chilly. They say it is supposed to warm up and get very hot later in the month, but we are enjoying the dry heat and soaking in the cool breezes while they last!

Please be praying for…
confidence to boldly share and pray with those we come in contact with
unity as we embrace the new culture together and leave distractions behind
joy, strength and perseverance
respect, submission even when it's hard
please also pray for our squad's health, Malaria here is very easy to get

we do not have wifi this month so I will try to post once a week hopefully sometimes twice!
