Luke 17:33 "Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it."
Everyone always says the Kingdom of God is upside-down because it's the exact opposite of what the world says. I got to thinking and actually the world is what is upside-down. When you think about it God is truth, and the only thing that is true is God and His Word; therefore when we say the Kingdom of God is upside-down because it's in opposition to how the world operates I think this is completely turned around. Our brains are so programmed to think what the world thinks and that what the world has to offer is truth but as Christians we need to re-train ourselves with God's Word to think the right way. We need His Word to wash our minds of what we think is truth and to fill it with His actual truths. With all this said, I'm going to challenge myself to be more open-minded and when I'm quick to think "oh I know this, or this is right because I've thought this forever and so has my family…" I'm going to stop and compare it to God's Word and let Him permeate my mind with actual truth.
Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
