We finally arrived to our ministry after a 17 hour bus ride, strutting through the mountains full speed- get off the bus I swear I could have threw up. check my bag my wallet is gone, everything is gone. Search high and low on the bus for it even search through the guy’s bag sitting next to me. My passport is nowhere to be found. DANG!!!
so I shed a few tears,
I swear I will never forget this, we get to the church we were staying at and I am sitting by myself literally crying because I am so frustrated, the pastor that we were working with came up to me and said everything is going to be okay, I am still balling my eyes out then he says pray. This man doesn’t speak English can’t understand a word he is saying then he begins to pray.
This has been one of the most powerful prayers I have heard in a long time, and still I didn’t even know what he was saying, but somehow there was so much power behind it all I was. He really brought the presence of God.
The place where we were at was literally the most peaceful place I have been on the whole entire race, there was no rushing traffic, no horns honking, chaos was nowhere to be found and Praise the Lord no one staring at you… well for a little while =)
there was something about this place, this man carried something that I have never seen before or have felt before. The crazy thing is that I never even carried a conversation with this man, but I just knew he was so in tune with God. Whatever he has is special from the Lord, even sitting here thinking about it God is a God of peace and He was there.
They has a special little ceremony for us to welcome us the made us real flower necklaces and put it on us it was so beautiful, this literally made my day 100 times better.
Because my passport was gone, we had to come back the very next day, do the bus ride all over again. We just had team changes and it was our very first time together at ministry and I had to miss out.
So back on the road again…
the day could have been horrible, but I got to spend it with the two most amazing people, Tricia and Andrew.
We turned a day which could have be chaos to a day of smoothness and laugher, I swear the day could have been BAD, but we rock…
Filled out application after application, running around to get everything done for my passport, it was basically a day of adventure…
Please pray for favor from the Lord and that my passport will be here in time I leave.
If everything goes according to plan and smoothly my temporary passport comes on the 24th or 25th, but here is the catch we leave Nepal on the 26th.
Just somehow, I feel so relaxed about it…
