Difference between Spiritual discernment and Diarrhea
Do you really know the difference between Spiritual Discernment???
So this month we are out in the village, somewhere south India…
The first day we get there it is roasting HOT, my Canadian body loves cold weather not humid hot air were you bathe in your sweat… yeah NOT a fan. We were not at all used to this weather we come from Africa where we wore sweaters at night… weird I know,
So the first night we get dumped (dropped off) in this random village, set up “home” do some door-to-door, tell people about this amazing man… Jesus. Then went to sweat I mean sleep,
Woke up the next morning with some intense diarrhea pooped like 6 times within 2 hours… not a good sign. Talking about poop has become a casual conversation here on the world race… and I’m covering up with my towel because I’m cold in this +40 (Celsius) weather, what made me happy was I had a partner in crime Jennilee was also feeling the same way. So every time I had to poop she had to poop =)
Let me paint a picture for you…
We are in the random village sweating to death, our tents are on the roof of this house where the burning hot sun shines down to our tents, if you leave your sandals in the heat for like 2 minutes they melt to your foot. AND this house does NOT have a bathroom =) toilets don’t exist in this village, the bathroom is wherever you make it. (either the field, under a tree, by a bush of thorns, middle of the road you name it.)
Then we decide… It’s doctor time!! =(
But then, Taylor leans over and says, “are you sure it not spiritual discernment, I mean it could happen”
Haha.
“I’m positive this is not spiritual discernment, I think I know the difference between spiritual discernment and Diarrhea.”
