TOUCHDOWN AFRICA!!
After 4 months of being in Asia, We are finally in AFRICA!!
THIS IS AFRICA!
After plenty of bus rides, hours on a plane, 6 different New year’s… Then waking up to this BEAUTIFUL sunrise… God and all his amazingness. was just being creative and painted this beautiful sunrise.
Finally we are in Nairobi
My expectations… I was expecting to get of the plane in Africa and my flesh would burn and I would be sweating like crazy.. Nope.. I was shivering in my socks.. This was so suprising to me I thought Africa was suppose to be hot… Can you believe this I was in Africa, at a hostle, sitting around a fire, bundles up in a sweater sweat pants, and socks… AHHH!! it was amaaazing!
Matatoo! local transportion, 11 passenger can you litterally have to squeeze, but off course not only 11 people fit at least 16 people… along with the awesome reggae chill music blaring in my ear…
I definetly Love africa, the first day I was here I loved it, and I continue to Love every minute of it.
Africa is filled with Beautiful amazing people, God has so much Love for them.
We stay with the Pastor, his Wife and their daughter. We live very close to a smaller slum and the 2nd largest slum in Africa, Kibera slum. We are helping him in the church, going around the community, and going door to door visiting people in the slum. We got a chance to hang around the slum and go into peoples houses interact with the kids. These people are just hungry for God and have so much faith it unbelievable. They have next to nothing but are so rich in christ, but there are struggles and we get to bring the Love of christ to these people and pray, pray, pray and pray some more for these people.
We continue to hear about amazing healing and people getting saved within our squad.. God is doing amazing things and I cant wait to see what else He is going to do.
