I AM FULLY FUNDED!!!
I am speechless, except that my heart is BURSTING with the same two words over and over again, though not always directed to the same Person or persons – thank You, thank you, thank You.
Thank You first and foremost to the Lord – the One who has made all of this possible; the same One who has made “this” more beautiful and wonderful and challenging and full than I could ever asked for or imagined. He is always a God of more than, is He not?
Secondly, my soul is screaming out THANK YOU to you, my dear friends and family and supporters of every kind! I could not have done this without you. Literally. Know that your support of my World Race journey is a worthy investment only because Christ is always and ever working in and through me. Your support of the work that He has already and will continue to accomplish in and through me is humbling and not something I take lightly. Thank you.
One last thing – to be clear, I still need your support in many ways because my Race is not over, and I certainly can’t do the second half of this thing on my own any more than I could have done the first half without you. You can still support me through prayer, reading my blogs (I LOVE reading your comments! And sometimes it’s a nice reminder that I’m not just writing aimlessly to the empty interwebs.), and keeping me updated on your own lives! Just like my life can be a reminder to you of things outside of your own day-to-day life, sometimes I just need a reminder of life outside of this thing we call the World Race. It’s surprisingly easy to forget.
In summary, words can’t describe my gratitude, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop saying them – thank you, thank you, thank you!!
