During our off-day this week, I’ve had some time to reflect on my Race thus far and I started missing this sweet woman. Señora Maria was the cook at our very first ministry in Quito, Ecuador and she immediately stole our hearts with her beautiful smile and gentle spirit! When we left she told my team and I: “All of my joy is leaving with you all. You make me smile and bring so much joy and laughter into my life. I will miss you.” Moments like that are what this is all about.
