Hello!  I know it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted, and I’m so sorry about that!  I don’t have much today, but felt led to share a promise for this season of staying that the Lord showed me in His Word today.  Perhaps someone who is reading this post also needs to hear this promise, or maybe He knew that it was something I needed after a week of seeing instagram pictures, Facebook posts, and blogs bursting with the many blessings of going from my old September squad-mates who just finished up their week of training camp.  Either way, I am especially grateful today for the words of Jeremiah 42:10-12.

“If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I am grieved over the disaster I have inflicted on you.  Do not be afraid of [the one] whom you now fear.  Do not be afraid of him, declares the Lord, for I am with you and will save you and deliver you from his hands.  I will show you compassion so that he will have compassion on you and restore you to your land.”

Also, I have recently been overwhelmed by the generosity of members of the church that helped raise me, Back Creek ARP and would like extend a special thank you to this congregation of believers who are faithfully and diligently serving the Lord!  Because of the Lord’s provision through you and everyone who has donated so far, I am now less than $1,000 away from my first fundraising goal and have nearly reached 15% of my total financial need!  The Lord is so, so faithful.

In His love,

Cassady

“Let all that I am praise the Lord, may I never forget the good things He has done for me.”
