I left America on my 26th birthday, January 2nd.  I left thinking I would change the world but it’s really the world that God has used to change me.  I have been churched my entire life.  I have known all the bible stories and can quickly find any book of the Bible or recite many passages.  This year God stripped that knowledge from me so that I could truly learn God in a new way.  There have been many challenging times that I couldn’t even begin to blog about.  Those were teachable moments from God.  I drew closer to Him this year and have truly learned to accept His love.  There were many hours that I was wanting “ministry” and God gave me my team.  He taught me that love starts right at home.
FULLNESS OF ONE loving one another for a goodbye!

In everything I did I couldn’t help but think of my family back at home- how I can serve them.

The World Race has ended for me but my journey is not over.  It has only begun.

In this next season I will be loving my family, serving my family, serving and loving my community

While in Kenya I felt a strong passion for the Luo people.  My love for them grew so strong until I know Kisumu is my home.
Please pray for me as God shows me how to transition back into America and how my trips to Kenya will look.
ARETE came back together for a final photo.

I would love to spend time with you and talk about this year.  After speaking in several school across the world I have a desire to speak in schools and churches in Kentucky.  Please feel free to contact me, I’d be glad to share what I’ve learned with others – to encourage and empower young people to love others.
