Sometimes I feel like I’m sleeping right in the heart of Main Street. There is no need for an alarm clock for every morning just around 5:47 a.m. I am not only awoken by the rooster but the street sweeper. My ears cry for plugs each time they are forced to hear what sounds like an old hateful substitute teacher taking her long curvy fingernails across the blackboard just to get the attention of the unruly class. But in all reality I am grateful for that sweeper. He works diligently day in and out keeping Kids International Ministries clean.

Every task is important and each part of it. The body cannot function without the leg, arm, hand, fingers. It’s not important for us to focus on the task that others have been given, but to see the one we’ve been given to its completion.

I will pray for God’s people.
I will notice God’s people.
I will teach and train God’s people.
