I always thought being a Pastor’s daughter that I lived in the church. My siblings and I complained every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday we had to go to church. It was especially annoying being drug to church during a five night revival. Though I didn’t understand then, I am now grateful for how God used my parents to prepare me.

I am presently living in a church. It doesn’t really matter that Arete is literally sleeping, preparing meals and worshipping inside of the church. We are learning that we are the church. Should we be asked to move our tents outside in the rainforest in which we reside, we are still living in the church. Where we are, the church is.
In our service to these aboriginals, we’ve been asked to focus on one project: PRAYER
We have been blessed to prayer walk through this community as well as pray over the missionaries working with these aboriginals. We believe God will use our fervent prayers to bring about FREEDOM in Mossman Gorge!
