My team had the great pleasure of being guards of the 1,000 pound world map each night of Call to All. It took 12-15 of us to carry this map to the tarp on the yard.
By the time we were half way to the tarp some of our arms were giving out but we persevered and made it to the edge of the tarp. It then took majority of us to roll out this half-ton map to fit over the tarp.
Because this map is so special, we guarded it for dear life during the services. The minute someone tried to get on with their shoes, we had to gently remind them to walk without shoes.

All the work was worthwhile once we saw the excitement and passion of the people who stepped foot on the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Islands. It was noticeable on many faces that at that particular moment God called them to a certain country.

During one assignment half of the crowd was asked to walk across the width of the map contending to God on behalf of the people of those countries. The other half walked across the length praising God for countries that will no longer be unreached.

There was a moment that more than 2,000 people interceded for the families in Haiti. People were listening to god and praying specifically for the people. Kerry and Nicole have the gift of intercessory prayer. Where a country touches our hearts and we pray for them, these girls actually can feel the pain of the people. They break down just talking about certain matters. Because of their passion, they cause the rest of our team to pray more for various issues.

I walked around the map, around the 40 different nations of people who were also walking. I asked God for direction. He clearly said, “If being a missionary means that you may never step foot in your town again or see family and friends again, will you still be a missionary.” While it took me a few days to ponder this question, I say “YES.”
