It is mind boggling to me how God allows us to go through trials and such just so we can help another through the same trial. For four years I struggled with hyperthyroidism and in 2008 God graciously used two individuals to heal me. At the end of our four hour prayer each day, time is left for individuals to raise their hands if they are in need of healing. Those of us not raising our hands go and lay them on an individual and pray over them. God sent me to the back of the room to pray for a middle aged woman. In the midst of praying for her I asked, “Where is your pain?” She told me the pain was in her back but then she whispered as she touched her neck, “I’m dealing with a thyroid problem right here.” I assured her that God can heal her if it is his will. I prayed for God to return her to the perfectness he made her in.

Today before service Viola approached me with a smile on her face, “Casondra, I feel much better.” I believe the Lord will heal her completely. Will you join me in prayer for Viola to be restored?

“As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts, take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.” – Matthew 10:6-10
