Before coming to the World Race, I visited a rather large family in Tennessee. There was one day that a lot of work needed to be done and we were all a little slow on moving. The father of this family gathered us for prayer and prayed that we be diligent workers. He challenged us to remember the definition for diligence. I have not forgotten that. I am now learning to see every task as a special assignment from God and finish it out with the best of my ability.

We were given the task of taping one large round of tarp to 5 other large rounds of tarp. It was a bit of a challenging task that one might see as useless but after 3.5 hours of work we realized it was very important. This tarp will hold a world map weighing a half ton. When people come to the Call for All event, they will be able to walk on this map, praying for direction from God in where He wants them to serve. I’m so anxious for our task tomorrow when we get to open the map and gently lay it on this tarp. IT will take 20 people to carry it because of its heaviness. It was made in China and took a fork lift to get it to New Zealand.
