I can’t help but remember the dance parties some of my teammates had at 7am during healthy living at Training Camp.  I also remember the day that we danced in praise and intecessory prayer to God.  I felt such relief from my the pain I was feeling inside.  It was a moment of release for me.  I was able to just tune everyone and everything out and just cry out in praise to God.  Now, I’m not a dancer by any means.  I was mostly moving my hands.  I can remember someone coming up to me and saying, “God says you can move your feet too.”  Ha! HA!  So, I began to move my feet and I felt that each time my feet hit the floor I was getting rid of fear, frustration, resentment, anger, sadness, jealousy, bondage.  I felt a freedom that I’ve never felt before.
Maybe you’re going through something.  Maybe you’re having a rough time.  I encourage you to turn off the sad movies.  Shut off the sad music.  Quit talking to people who are just as depressed as you.  Turn on some encouraging, uplifting music and just dance.  Whether you dance slow or fast doesn’t matter.  Just move your feet and release the pain that has been controlling you for long.  Cry out to God.  He will never leave you or forsake you.  He is your father.  He loves you.  Scream out praise if you need to (not while you’re at work).  But when the music stops, don’t get sad.  Just let another uplifting song play.

I’ve uploaded my family’s favorite dance video for you.  It is my 2 year old nephew dancing and singing to Fat Albert.  Believe me this will encourage you to dance like never before.

Hey I was dancing last night when I checked my mission account and realized I only have $5,490 more of support to raise.  WOW!  My God is amazing.  Now.  Let’s Dance!
