For the past three and a half months I have worked as a youth care worker in a home for unwed mothers.  There are times when I absolutely love my job and times when I want to give up.  But through it all I maintain my relationship with the girls there.  I feel as if I have gained little sisters.  These are wonderful girls who go through so much with families, and the fathers of their babies.  I find myself remembering that they are still teenagers and haven’t experienced a lot yet.  One thing the girls have had the hardest time grasping is love.  It’s difficult for them to understand why I love them, to understand that I even care about them.  More than me, it’s a challenge for them to come to the realization that God loves them.  I have used every opportunity to talk about Christ, to encourage them and help them see the positive in situations.

Tonight we took the girls to a nearby church for a Youth Explosion.  While the girls were just excited about getting out of the house, I was anticipating what God would do.  As the preacher preached, I prayed hard that God would do something BIG

                 And God did!
During the invitation 3 of our girls accepted Jesus into their hearts.

After invitation I followed one of the girls to the restroom.  Right there in the restroom, I led her through the sinner’s prayer.  She accepted Jesus into her heart.

God is so amazing.  He is constantly providing opportunities for me to spread his love.  I am thankful for this job he blessed me with.  I am also thankful that no matter where we are, we can give our hearts to Jesus Christ.

Do you know where you are going when you die?  There are only 2 choices: heaven or hell.
The only way to heaven is through God’s son, Jesus Christ.  God sent his son to die on a cross for your sins.  There is no good thing you can do to get you in heaven, except accepting Jesus as your savior.  We have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory.  God sent Jesus as a gift for us.  No one can accept your gift for you, only you can.
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is the son of God, that he died on a cross for your sins and he raised himself from the dead, you are saved
All you need to do is accept, believe and confess.
(See Romans).

Don’t wait until it’s too late to accept Jesus.  Don’t make the excuse that you want to get your life together first.  Come to Jesus just the way you are.  He will help you get your life on track.
Find a nearby church and talk to the Pastor there.  Gather with other believers and be encouraged in the Lord.  Talk to God daily and read His WORD.

Don’t be content with the way your life is now.  Nothing is good without God.
