My team is called Sculptor’s Seven. After we were formed as a team at training camp, we went out and had a team date for our first bonding time. We were praying over what our name should be. We wanted to be intentional and use our name to cast vision over us as a group. We were praying, and Steph got an image of an artist sculpting clay. The verse Isaiah 64:8 came to mind. “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” All seven of us agreed, we want to be a group of women formed by The Potter’s hand. Thus the name, Sculptors Seven.

Abi is our team leader. I don’t know what it is, but I am just drawn to this girl. She has a gentle spirit, but doesn’t shy away from boldness when the situation calls for it. She gets things done efficiently, and still knows how to have fun. She has been such a safe resting spot. I see an incredible amount of intentionality in how she uses her words to encourage, speak life, and build up her team. This girl gets it. She understands it’s not her job to solve other people’s problems, but lovingly walks with them along their journey.

Hannah. AKA: Peaches. Peach. Peachy. We all love this girl. It’s hard not to. She’s fun, light-hearted, and chasing after big things. Hannah walks in depth with the Lord, and simultaneously carries the heart of a child. There’s so much I can be learning from this girl, and I’m so excited to see how God moves through her.

Steph. This girl has a huge heart for God’s word and truth. She has a wealth of scripture stored up in her heart, and loves using it to build up others. We’ve accidentally lost Steph a time or two because she’s deep in conversation with someone she just met. This girl knows the meaning of leaning in. She digs deeps, and is constantly searching for His truth. God is going to ROCK her world this year. It’s just a matter of time.

Jamie. Man, talk about obedience. Jamie has heard God’s voice and is radically following Him wherever He leads. She has made the choice to walk by faith, and I’m incredibly inspired that she is willing to lay it all down for more of Him. He rewards faith with more faith and more of Him. I love this girl so deeply already, and I can’t wait to see the Father pour His love upon her.

Brooke. This girl has so much to offer. She’s a high “feeler” on the Myer’s Briggs personality scale. I absolutely love that she wears her heart on her sleeve. She doesn’t let things build up because she recognizes the importance of not holding grudges. She’s fun, bold, and I just genuinely enjoy her presence. I love that Brooke doesn’t feel pressure to be anyone except herself. God has created such a beautiful daughter that has said “yes” inside her spirit. I can’t wait to see that unleashed.

Rachel. She walks in a freedom that can’t easily be defined. Rachel bounces around with a child-like spirit that is up for any adventure that might come her way. Fear has no place in her life. She connects with God through nature, so she’s often itching to get to the beach, go run up a mountain, and explore His beautiful creation. I’ve seen this deep love for God’s children just in the past few days of ministry, and I know God is going to continue giving her His heart these coming months.
There’s so many beautiful things about our group of girls. We are a group created in the image of God. Each one of us represents different pieces of His nature, His character, expressed in unique ways. I’m so thankful I get to do life with them these coming months.
