Today Summer is over, time is passing so quickly and bringing us new changes.  In the last month, I’ve started a new job, had a few fundraisers, met the first goal of $5,000, felt so much love and support from those around me, and the route for January 2017 Fusion has changed!

Sometimes change is difficult for me, I like knowing whats coming next, and I like routines.  At the same time I know that we can never really know what is coming.  Other times I like change, because it’s a chance to learn something new and grow.  When I started reading about how our route was changing by 3 countries I started to get anxious.  What if these new countries could make the preparation process harder for me?  What if these new countries are in areas that will make my mom worry more than she already is? Then I remembered how I am working on trusting in God, and knowing he has a plan.  By the time I was done reading the email I was excited and looking forward to see what plans God has in these new countries as well!

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Our route (which is still subject to change) is now:
January– Uganda
February– Rwanda
March– Ethiopia
April– Malaysia
May– Thailand
June– Cambodia
July– India
August– Nepal
September– Costa Rica
October– Nicaragua
November– Guatemala

I am also very excited to share that the first goal of $5,000 by September 23rd has been met.  I can’t even begin to explain how thankful and appreciative I am for not only the people who donated, but those of you who have kept me in your prayers and thoughts, and those of you who have showed up to all of my fundraisers and shared encouraging words with me.  You are all so great!  I am blessed to have so much support!  I also know that with out my loving and supportive parents I alone would not have met this deadline! My dad is out at Festival Booths for me while I am working, while still working his own job from the booth, and my mom is keeping everything organized and preparing a majority of our fundraisers, while also working a stressful job. God knew what he was doing when he called me on this journey, he has placed all these great people in my life, and for that I am so thankful.

And now we’re on to the next deadline!
