As I prefaced in my earlier post, Cliffhanger, we are searching northern Thailand high and low for new ministry opportunities for ourselves and future World Racers. Seeing as how the Lord works in mysterious ways, He has provided an interesting avenue for us to meet new people. We are doing childcare at a conference for several ministries that are focused on an unreached people group. Praise God, we’re looking for just such people! So now we have the undivided attention(we have their children, remember?) of all sorts of potential contacts and are hoping and praying that we get to spend some time out in the mountains next week.
I must admit that Thailand has been a surprisingly hard month for me. I’m not quite sure why I’m feeling the way I am a lot. In the airplane over Thailand coming in nearly a month ago, I was writing in my journal and for some reason just had the feeling that God was telling me that Thailand would soon be healed. I’m not real sure what to make of that right now and I’ve been really wondering what Thailand is going to mean for me by the end of this month and by the end of this race. Just another chapter in the great book that is being penned for me.
