New blog time.  MY PASSPORT CAME IN! Ok, that’s out of the way.  I am quite thankful.  I’m just in a bit of a freewriting mood right now because I’m quite ready to begin this trip.  Granted, none of us are totally ‘ready’ or ‘prepared’, nor are we ever going to be.  I believe that God really does equip the called, not vice versa.  All of us have been through months of intense preparation and now the time has come for us to go.  Keep in mind that I’m not discounting a second of our journey thus far; we are continually being equipped by God for our task.  I merely say that before you know it the time has come to trust that God has us right where He wants us, regardless of how much stress we feel we are under or how many t-shirts we don’t know if we need.  The anticipation has been building, the family has been growing, the education has been uplifting, the goodbye’s have been accumulating (always a very tough subject), and yes, the nerves have been encroaching.  But its ok.  And, if its not ok, think of the training camp theme… “It’s ok to not be ok.”  God is an intimate, active God who is directly involved with each of us and worry has no place under His wings.

Thanks guys, gals, y’all.  Love you.
