I think my “About Me” section will be a continual work in progress.  So for now, here are some random facts about me:

-I grew up in Milwaukee, WI with 2 great parents and an awesome older brother.

-I played a bunch of different sports growing up (gymnastics, softball, soccer, basketball, swimming, golf, tennis, cross country, and the list goes on).

– I loved middle school.  I would probably even classify it as the happiest 3 years of my life to date.

– I was 17 the first time I saw the ocean.

– I graduated from high school in 2004 and went to college at UW-Oshkosh.  When I graduated from high school, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, so I picked nursing because I knew I would have a lot of options (and I would be able to wear scrubs).  I tacked on Spanish as a major, so I could have classes that I actually enjoyed going to as well.  (I had a Spanish class that I legitimately looked forward to going to, but I can confidently say that I never really looked forward to Physiology or Biochemistry, etc).

– I graduated from college on December 13, 2008 and on December 14th, 2008 I left on a week-long a road trip to Florida with one of my friends.

– I currently work as an ER nurse in Milwaukee.  I work nights, which is fun and crazy and exhausting all at once.

– I firmly believe that Scrubs is the best TV show ever made.

– In August my brother got married, so now I have an awesome sister-in-law too.

– I love going on solo adventures.  Over the last year I have gone to Seattle, San Diego, and San Francisco.

– I love taking naps and can fall asleep pretty much anywhere.
