The World Race is an amazing adventure for a person to take. God does so much through the young people who choose to go on the race. Sometimes there are changes that we must go through throughout this Kingdom adventure. We are taught to let go of our own expectations and to just let God. God often has plans that are different from what we had planned.
I recently went through one of these times. As you all know, I was the Team Leader for an all girl team for the first three months of the race. I loved every second of it. They are a wonderful group of Women of God. However, at the beginning of the April, new leaders were raised up throughout our squad. My team stayed the same, except that I stepped down as leader and one of the other girls on my team was raised up to be Team Leader. This is such a beautiful process. I believe that God was involved in the entire process.
This change was not too hard to get used to. But wait more changes were coming. Just a couple of days ago, almost everything changed. Almost the entire squad got mixed up. New teams, new and old leaders put into position, and new squad leaders raised up. The biggest change for me was I was put on a co-ed team and I was not raised back up as a leader.
Introducing my new team… Team Aroma of Christ.

So, throughout all of this, God has taught me that it doesn't matter what team I am on. It doesn't matter if I am leader or not. I am to be the person God has made me to be. We are all leaders and are called to edify each others. As long as I am doing what God is calling me to do, then I am in the right place. Pray that God uses my new team to do great things for His Kingdom. Love you all. Oh yea, one more thing. I can't leave off our awkward family photo 🙂
