Ministry is such an awesome experience. It can be challenging, as well as, rewarding. One of the challenges in ministry this month has been that we have been ministering with 3 other teams. Doing the same ministry with 25 other people can sometimes be overwhelming. God has blessed us so much this month by putting us with 6:8 Ministries. 6:8 is such a Holy Spirit led organization.
This month, so far, most all of the ministry projects has been with the entire group staying at 6:8. This consist of four teams, which is a grand total of 26 people. So, you can see where an individuals strengths, as well as, a teams strengths in ministry can get lost in the entire situation.
So, today we had an opportunity to minister and serve as a team separate from the rest of the teams. We were given the chance to teach the younger Children's Church class. This morning in Church we were able to worship with the entire church and then, as the pastor got up to preach, we took the children out for Children's Church. We split the group into two classes. Our class was the younger children, ranged between 3 and 5 years old. With the help of two teachers at the church, we taught the kids about Daniel and the Lion's Den. We taught the children about the need to have faith like Daniel. The kids were so good and attentive. They all were so eager to learn and hear from us.

After the lesson, we made Lion's mask with the kids. They were so precious as they tried to glue the papers to their pre-prepared mask we had made them. It was such a blessing to be able to serve with my team in this way.Through this experience, God showed us our individual and team talents, gifts, and strengths. The children were amazing and we had so much fun working with them. Join me in praying for 6:8 Ministries as they reach into Costa Rica and serve Alajuelita. Also, join me in praying for Pastor Miguel and Celebration Church in Alajuelita as they serve and minister to so many and especially the youth and children of the community.
